(If this is incorrect, please tell me what I need to edit. This RP is a bit confusing compared to the other ones I'm in. I'm currently in a state of writer's block, so I apologize if the history is too thick.)

Bryan has the ability to alter the pitch or volume of a sound. Although he is still trying to master this ablilty, he has found a few advantages with using it. Most notably, he can create noises so unbearly high pitched that anyone nearby could experience temporary deafness or bleeding of the eardrums.
To a certain extent, the sounds he concocts can sometimes cause someone to feel nauseated or lethargic due to extreme pressure on their cochlear nerves. However, Bryan's ears are unaffected by his abilities.
History: Bryan is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Innocent Daze. He sees music as an art, not just as a career.
The only child of a young unmarried couple from southern Arizona, Bryan was given up to an orphanage shortly after birth. He lived a dysfunctional childhood, being treated poorly by the orphanage's estranged director. He was one of the director's "favorites", so to speak. If he misbehaved or failed to follow one of the director's commands, he would be brutally beaten. Due to his cowardice toward the director and lack of social skills, he made very few friends.
At the age of six, he was enrolled in a strict private school. He was bullied for his lack of physical strength, and his depression gradually worsened.
However, his saving grace came at the age of nine. The director of the orphanage was killed in an auto accident, and the children were moved to a different orphanage several hundred miles away.
There, the administration was much more welcoming and loving. The people employed there often took the children on field trips. One particular field trip was to a kid-friendly rock concert. Bryan was mesmerized by the sound of the electric guitars. After the show, the band held a small meet and greet. Bryan eagerly approached the guitar player and declared that he wanted to become one as well. The guitar player gave him a smile, and told him that he had to practice diligently in order to become a good guitarist. Then, he gave away his guitar to the awe-struck Bryan.
Over the next several years, Bryan developed his angsty attitude, adapting the persona of several rockstars. It seemed odd at first, but he slowly grew into the attitude. He practiced the guitar every day, listening to many different records and trying to emulate their techniques. He also picked up a habit of singing with the track that was playing, which helped develop his vocal talents. He also began wandering the streets, occasionally doing some small jobs for cash.
One day, at the age of fourteen, Bryan found a flyer posted in a coffeeshop window. This flyer was put out by an aspiring rock group in need of a frontman. Bryan eagerly called the number on the flyer, confident in his musical abilities.
One hard-rocking audition later, Bryan was hailed as the frontman for the band Innocent Daze. It was at this point that he began growing more confident in his social skills, eventually growing close to his bandmates.
Bryan and Innocent Daze quickly began writing original material and played local gigs. Over the next five years, the local group evolved into a coastal favorite with their blues-esque hard rock. Gig after gig was played, wowing audiences time and time again. Eventually, Bryan acquired enough money to rent a small studio apartment. He used the money left over for martial arts lessons and sharpshooting demos.
One day, while practicing his guitar, Bryan noticed that his amp was making loud screeching noises. His first assumption was that it was malfunctioning, but as Bryan stood up to switch it off, the noise amplified, nearly shattering Bryan's eardrum. With one hand covering his ear, he immediately switched off the amp. Turning towards the telephone, Bryan attempted to call directory assistance in search of a repair service. However, when he lifted the phone from the reciever, the dial tone echoed loudly across the room.
Mouthing a simple "What the hell?", Bryan noticed that his own voice was amplified. It was at that moment that he realized he could alter the pitch and volume of any sound.
It didn't take long for Bryan to adjust to his abilities. He found several different uses for them, and over time, he even grew fond of his powers.
Report of Mutant Capture: The sun was setting slowly over the horizon, illuminating Bryan's apartment window with streaks of gold. The young musician was quietly humming to himself whilst playing his guitar, attempting to perfect the band's new songs. Tomorrow morning would be Innocent Daze's first ever recording session. The product would be a simple EP, but it was in high demand. Bryan and his other bandmates felt stupid for not recording during their five-year run, save for crude home demos. Nevertheless, Bryan's spirit soared at the thought of being in a studio.
It was about 7:10 when there was a knock at the door. Bryan simply ignored it. He did not want to be disturbed, especially when practicing. However, not even thirty seconds passed when the door was blown off its hinges. Three men garbed in black attire stood in the doorway.
Bryan looked up angrily. "What do you want?"
The men immediately jumped at Bryan without a response. Bryan was taken aback by the apparent assault. His guitar was forced from his grasp and placed against the wall. At least the men had some form of courtesy.
Bryan, on the other hand, was anything but courteous. "Let go! What the hell are you guys doing?"
One of the men cupped a hand around Bryan's mouth. "Quiet, boy. You're not in trouble. We're simply taking you somewhere."
Bryan attempted to mouth "Where, exactly?", but his speech was completely muffled. Realizing it was futile to offer any sort of resistance, Bryan allowed himself to be taken away. With his mind racing, he contemplated what his bandmates would say if he didn't show up for the recording session the following morning.
He was taken into the parking lot, where a black Rolls Royce was parked. Without reason, he was stuffed into the back seat, his anger building. However, before he could let out a single outburst, he felt a hypodermic needle plunge into his arm. Giving a tiny 'oh' as a feeling of surprise, he felt his vision fade.
