(Open to 1, preferably a female) Jett smirked and leaned further into his arm so that his face neared the woman's in front of him. A chuckle escaped his lips. "You're entertaining," the girl told him with a wink, "but I'm not so sure that'll get you anything." The scene beneath the tent's flapping roof was intense, to say the least. The small fortress was squeezed in between two other marketer's wares, consisting of a rectangular home-made table filled with a nameless fruit and two young women. Behind them there were pillows and blankets carpeting the floor of their tent, an inviting little patch that implied it's purposes with it's coziness. Jett was bent on his elbows, grinning charmingly at the two giggling sisters who looked exactly the same. Both dark skinned and light haired with vibrant purple eyes. Both easily flattered. Both utterly won over. The air was thick with sexual tension. Mhmm, how glorious. Jett didn't miss a beat, "And what if I recited a bit of poetry for you? Then would you let me?" He lifted a brow quizzically, snaking his tongue out of his mouth to moisten his lips. No doubt the two parties' intentions were completely opposite. The girls had the notion he intended to see them on their patch in the back on their backs, while Jett really just wanted some darn fruit. Alas, a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do. "You wouldn't." Giggled the first. "Oh do." Clapped the second. Jett lifted his eyes to the sky, inhaling deeply for a dramatic effect. "With lips so plump and eyes so fiery, with creamed skin and limbs so wiry, with hair pure yellow and eyes their match, I've found a goddess and her match. Are they of war or are they of peace? Do they give gifts or do they give grief?" Jett exhaled and sighed, "Either way I'm hungry." The twins giggled and clapped their hands, putting their heads together like only women do. Jett hummed and plucked up one of the large orange fruits. He'd never seen one like this before. He brought it to his mouth. "No no, silly, you've got to--" Well she missed her cue. Jett sank his teeth into the bitter peel, instantaneously withdrawing, spitting clumsily to the side, not checking to be sure there wasn't a passerby. "...peel it." The second twin finished for the first. They cackled at his grimace. Jett huffed and began the laborious process of removing the fruit's outer shell.

Rebecca, or Bex as most liked to call her, made her way to the food tents. She wasn't very handy with food herself and she needed something to feed the other dreamers tonight. She was just holding a small gathering, nothing too mind blowing. Anyway, she just needed something to feed them. She didn't want them to starve.
She wondered what she wanted to get as she looked at the different tents. Smells assaulted her every time the wind blew and it made her mouth water. She decided she didn't care as long as she went into a tent and got some food. She was making herself hungry. The tent she just so happened to walk into happened to be the one where Jett and the two twins were having a rather interesting encounter. She was just about to step out, having overheard Jett's little poem and blushing with embarrassment from it. Her red cheeks drained as a wet orange peel landed on her left shoe.
Bex grimaced as she bent down and flicked the peel off, careful to block her powers lest the orange in Jett's hand or any thing else in the tent blew up. "You may want to be careful where you spit," she said, her tone slightly annoyed but otherwise controlled. She pulled herself back up, only slightly bending so her head didn't go through the tent. She pulled her sparkly tan tank top down over her dark skinny jeans. A silver bangle hung on her wrist, catching the light that filtered through the tent. It was the last bit of protection clothing that Madam Weaver was making her wear. A precaution to control her powers.
Rebecca turned away from the man as he peeled his orange and looked to the wide-eyed twins. Again, she was embarrassed for stepping onto their little scene but she figured since she was already there now she might as well get some fruit. She didn't know whether the boy was a customer or not but since he didn't seem to be getting anything other then the orange he was peeling, Bex decided to order. "I was wondering if you had any fruit." She shook her head at her own stupidity. "I mean...perhaps some....strawberries?" She decided, though her voice took on a questioning tone. Everyone liked strawberries and if she could find some chocolate, that would only make her gathering all the better.

Jett's head snapped around as a voice scolded him for being careless. His eyes were quick to evaluate the new woman on the scene. The twins became a distant memory.
"Forgive me." He said immediately, staring at her earnestly. "I tend to be a moron in the face of beauty." He was most obviously referring to the woman he spoke to, however the twins gasped in delight and giggled as if he'd meant it for them. Jett let them think as they wished, never taking his eyes off of Bex.
"No, no strawberries." One twin said shortly, apparently not too thrilled at having been interrupted. Her sister huffed and rolled her eyes.
"I could have sworn I saw a woman selling them a few tents back." Jett spoke quickly, stepping forward and offering the woman his arm. "If you'll let me assist you...?"

Bex briefly met his eyes but his were quick to evaluate the rest of her and her's were quick to turn toward the girls. She could tell they were annoyed, but then again, she now realized it probably would've been more awkward if she had just walked out.
Rebecca's head turned toward him as he spoke to her. A sly smile tugged at her lips as he spoke of her. She was quick enough to catch his singular word choice but she wasn't so low as to point that out obviously to the happy twins. "Well, that's just a shame, isn't it? Because I like to come to the food tents often." Her tone was light, some would even say flirtatious.
Rebecca turned her attention back to the twins. Her eyes weren't so enraptured by Jett as his seemed to be on her. It wasn't that she didn't find him attractive. Oh no, she wouldn't deny that he was. She was just slightly preoccupied with finding some food for her friends. Rebecca's eyes knitted together as the twins grew rude. "Shame," she simply said. Either she was commenting on their attitudes or the fact they had no strawberries is up to interpretation.
Rebecca turned away from the girls and toward Jett. "Really?" Her face lit up. "As long as I'm not interrupting anything," she said, taking his arm gently. OOC|| I didn't realize that my picture of Keira had strawberries. lol And Jett is a playa. :p

"Of course not." Jett eagerly led the woman out of the tent, leaving behind the heat of the passed moment that still clung to the twins. He hurried Bex away as if she were some rare rose he'd stumbled upon and wanted to make sure to keep in his possession. He found himself searching for something to say--anything to say--to interest her. He wanted to make her smile and laugh and feel at ease.
"What is your name, my fair lady, that I might taste it's sound in my mouth?" Jett leaned towards her, grinning boyishly, waggling his eyebrows at her in a playful motion. "Might I also inquire after your specific taste for strawberries? Delightfully tasty, they are, but not the most filling if appetizers. I should hope they are not wanted for weight management, dear. Your frame is already slim as fine wheat." He shifted his hands so that the one furthest from her was supporting her arm, freeing the closer one in order that it might support her at the waist.
The hubbub around them was a distant murmur in Jett's mind. He walked straight down the middle of the tents as if he were King, and she his Queen.

Rebecca smiled at Jett's eagerness. It was cute. 'I'm glad I'm not imposing," she said as they left the tent. "Now, where is this tent of yours?" She asked, her brown eyes looking at him questioningly. Did he know where she could obtain some strawberries or did he just want to walk with a pretty lady? Bex, however, was quite comfortable around him despite his loss for words. She could feel he was an easy going person like herself.
"Rebecca," She told him with an amused smile. If she didn't know better, she would say he was either flirting with her or trying to get her to laugh. Or maybe both. "But most call me Bex," she explained, stifling a giggle at his wiggly eyebrows. Rebecca laughed gently and shook her head at his next inquiry. "You may. They aren't for weight management," she took a moment to shake her head, "but for a small gathering between a few friends of mine. I thought we'd all like to enjoy some." She made no notice of his arm around her waist except or the fact is was quite comfortable and he was now most definitely flirting with her.
'Do you always offer a walk and fruit tents to any girl that happens to come across your path?" She asked, an eyebrow raised inquisitively. "Or am I just lucky?"

Jett smiled broadly, thoroughly pleased with her inquiry. He hesitated for a moment, allowing them both to hear her question echo in their ears. During the short pause his upper teeth found his lower lip, his lips twisted into a smirk, and his eyes narrowed as they focused completely on Rebecca.
"You might say you're lucky," he told her with a quick squeeze around her midriff, "but I'd call it skill. Please, allow me to join you in this gathering with your friends. I do so love strawberries." Just as he said it he curved their path, turning them into the tent of an elderly woman who perched on a stool, watching them with beady little eyes. Her fruit was spread out on a mat on the ground, displaying a vast assortment of fruits. To the right in the corner were round ripe strawberries.
"I'm Jett, by the way." He told Bex before turning to the woman with a warm smile. "How much are you charging, ma'am? The lady and I would like to buy some strawberries for..." he glanced at Bex, "our friends."

Jett's easy smile brought one to Rebecca's lips as well. She waited patiently for his answer but when it never came she turned her head away shyly. She felt a bit awkward but he seemed completely at ease still, which only made her confused.
"And where does the skill part play in?" Her eyebrows knitted together at the remark. She slyly reached her hand over to the one around her waist and took it in hers, squeezing his fingers gently. He made her feel comfortable but something about the squeeze around her midriff was a bit more intimate then she was used to from strangers. "If you'd like. You probably won't know the people there but I suppose strawberries are worth that." She smiled over at him.
Jett, she repeated to herself. It was an interesting name to go with an interesting person. Rebecca looked at the lady and then scanned her produce. She waited for the woman's answer to Jett's question. "Oh, Jett, you wouldn't happen to also know where some chocolate might be, or has my luck ran out?" She payed no mind to the fact that Jett referred to her friends as his as well. It was easier to explain the strawberries' purpose that way.

Jett only chuckled at her question, not sure he wanted to answer that and not completely confident that he had something interesting to say. Talking without spice or sweetness was in vain. Everything a person says should first be considered and then perfected so that when they spoke their words were like honey on the biscuit. Well, that applied to Jett, anyway. Sometimes women who senselessly opened their mouths were cute. Other times they just needed to stop.
"I'm afraid I've not seen chocolate," he informed Bex as he inspected the strawberries.
"What have you got to offer me?" Everyone knew money didn't exist here. There were some kind people who gave away food and items for free, but n most cases you had to dig up something that the seller considered of equal value. Jett patted in pockets, pretending to be searching but knowing in his mind that he had nothing.
"How about this, woman. I'll give you a down payment for them now and then return later and pay you back in full?" Again he smiled at her, hoping she'd catch the rays of charm he emitted.
Eying him curiously, if not a bit suspiciously, the woman leaned in and lifted a brow.
"What kind of payment and down payment might this be?"
"Why a kiss, of course," Jett exclaimed with mirth, "And tomorrow I'll return to work off the strawberries by being your lackey for the day. You have my word. That's what the kiss is for." As long as it wasn't on the lips. Jett was a man who savored his sweets, mind you, but applying them to crusty old women wasn't on the top of his To Do list. Not that he had one...
The woman cackled, holding her stomach as she cried from the corner of her eyes. Apparently Jett was funnier than he knew.
"And what would your girlfriend say of this, hmm?" She turned her small eyes onto Bex. "Or is she your wife? Awfully pretty. I'd hate to see her upset." She grinned a toothless smile and nudged Jett's ribs with her elbow, a motion he shrank away from.

Rebecca eyed his curiously. She was starting to pick up on that. Every time he talked, he said something that had a poetic feel. She didn't nearly pay that much attention to her words but she knew she always said what she meant. She also didn't tend to babble on. Words weren't taken so carefully with Bex, but she didn't waste them on nonsense.
Rebecca bit the corner of her lips and looked down, wondering where she could find some chocolate. Then again, she didn't really need it. Just the strawberries. She released her lip and looked to Jett. "It's not a problem," she said, a small smile stretching her lips.
Rebecca's eyes widened as the woman asked for something. She was so used to the Dreamers borrowing and sharing that she always forgot that other people typically wanted something in return. She fiddled around in her pockets but found nothing of value. Then Jett offered something about a down-payment and then later payment. "Jett. No, you don't have--" The woman's question cut her off.
Jett's answer only sent Bex into more shock. She let him explain his deal but she definitely was not going to let him kiss the old woman and then later work for her. Rebecca was the one who wanted the strawberries. Jett shouldn't have to work for them.
Rebecca watched as the woman cackled. It wasn't the most pleasant sound. "Oh, I'm not..." Her voice faded as the old woman seemed to continue on about Bex being Jett's wife. She sighed. The old woman was certainly not a person Bex was used to and frankly, she reminded Bex of one of those old crazy voodoo woman seen in crappy horror movies.
"Miss, how about..." She pulled off her silver bracelet. "How about this? It's a bracelet of protection...more or less. If you ever feel out of control, it should help." She waved the silver bracelet around. It caught the light and glittered. Rebecca wasn't lying. It was a bracelet for protection but it probably wouldn't work on the woman, sense it was designed to keep Rebecca's mutation at bay.

The woman snatched the bracelet from Bex greedily, holding it up to the light.
"Ah, yes, this is worth the strawberries. It's worth them all. You must truly love your..." she looked at Jett and winked, "friends." After another moment spent examining the bracelet and a satisfied grunt, the woman tucked the jewelry into the folds of her dress and motioned to the fruit Bex had purchased. "They are yours."
Jett was looking at Bex, a new respect glittering in his dark orbs. That she would give up something that seemed like it would be precious to her to buy something for her friends suddenly made her all the more beautiful. Jett would have to be careful around this one.
"Let me get those for you." Jett said quickly before Bex would even move to retrieve what was hers. He accepted the piece of fabric the woman supplied and carefully placed the strawberries atop it, joining the four corners together and tying them in a tight knot. "You'll need to take these to the river and give them a good scrubbing, no offense intended, ma'am." He nodded courteously at the crone, who waved a hand dismissively, retreating to the back of the tent to do Lord knows what.
Jet's eyes lingered on her for a moment as he made a silent promise to see that bracelet again in the near future.
"Well then, there you are." With a broad grin he handed the bulging sack to Bex. "I pray your friends enjoy themselves. They're lucky to have allegiance with one such as yourself."

Rebecca flinched as the woman snatched from her but recovered quickly. She watched as the woman interest in the bracelet grew. She raised an eyebrow at the wink to Jett but shook it off. "I do," she said, her chin a little high. Rebecca's face relaxed though and she smiled as the possession of the strawberries was hers. The bracelet was something of importance, but for Rebecca, friends were just higher up on the ladder then jewelry.
"Oh, thanks!" Rebecca said, smiling widely at Jett as carefully packaged the strawberries. He was quite sweet when she thought about it. She wondered why a man like Jett wasn't in the Dreamers, and decided to have the discussion at a later date. "Would you mind coming with me then? You're actually quite good company," she told him, not noticing the old woman's departure.
She grabbed the strawberries carefully. Putting a hand underneath them while her free hand held the knot at the top. She laughed gently. "I've never met someone with such a way for words," she told him, looking into his dark eyes.

Jett smiled a moment longer, his head subconsciously tilted to the left just a bit due to the weight of his hair. His eyes searched her's, and then with a mirthful laugh and a flip of his head--more so his hair--Jett said,
"I'd be honored to assist you, Bex." He told her, flourishing a bow. Actually and quite. Not the most appealing words to add to a complement. Made her sound uncertain, almost as if she didn't want anything she said to go to his head. Jett reached out for the strawberries.
"Let me relieve you of your burden, then."

Rebecca raised a hand to the back of her neck, rubbing it self-consciously and lowering her eyes from Jett's. She looked back up as he spoke. She gave him a closed-lip smile of gratitude.
"You don't mind?" She asked. He seemed to like being around her, which made Bex happy. It wasn't too often you found people that you could just become friends with out-of-nowhere outside of the Dreamers. And well, about the compliment. She really didn't want it to go to his head. Guys had a tendency, at least with Rebecca's experiences, to take single comments and put too much thought into them. She had meant what she said, however.
She shook her head, laughing gently as he took the strawberries. "You don't have to do that Jett. Just like you didn't have to offer to pay for them." She wasn't scolding him. That would've been ridiculous. She just didn't want him to feel as if she was taking advantage of him. Nor did she want to feel that herself.

"Well of course I didn't have to." Jett laughed, watching her laugh as he did. "But that's why I did. It's never easy to be selfless when you're asked to do a favor." He adjusted the strawberries in his hands so that carrying them in one position for a long time wouldn't become a laborious task.
He stepped ahead to lead them through the market, similar to the way they had moved through it before. Jett may have been carrying a sack and there may have been a crowd around, but he only had eyes for Bex.
"Can I ask who these friends you speak of are? Are you a part of a group of some kind, or do you affiliate yourself with one of these..." he fished for the word, "how do you say, uh, factions...?" That certainly wasn't a word they used in South Africa.
