Laurel walked along the muddy bank, enjoying the feel of the damp mud squishing between her toes. She stopped for a second taking in the sights. The whole place was vegitated. You could tell that it had been spring here for quite some time by the vast amount of green in the surrounding area. It was beautiful. If she hadn't previously known, she would've thought that she had walked into a Thomas Kinkade painting. Everyhing around her was calm and still. She took a deep beath and felt the moist air run over her face and for a second it all seemed bearable.
She looked over at and saw this colosal tree. She wasn't kidding. this thing was massive! She stood in awe at it. It looked like one of those ancient oaks that lined her neighborhood back in civilization. Her dad had hung a tire swing from it when she was small and she used o sit on it for hours just swinging and humming and enjoying her child-like innocence. as she grew older she went from swinging on it to jumping off when it hit the highest point in the air. She would launch up hit the thirty feet mark, then float down saftley, unharmed and unaware.
As she shifted from her deep thought back to reality, she was asonished to see that the tree that ad just stood so strongly was now whithering before her eyes.

Rosenna had heard there was a lake.
The first thing she thought when she heard the word lake was "Canoe." She was pretty sure that she wouldn't be able to find a canoe in any of the shops, so she came down here to see if she could make one herself.
Rosenna had always loved the outdoors. She was a hiker, a biker, a swimmer, a rafter and a rock climber. It gave her a chance to calm down and think. It was one of the few things that was still fun when she was with another person.
As she walked around, she saw a massive oak tree. It seemed big enough to fit someone in it. If she hollowed it out, she figure it could make a pretty good canoe.
So, standing behind the tree, she placed her hands on the rough bark. She closed her eyes and focused all her energy on killing the tree at the roots. Making the base of the tree shrivel and die. Just as she felt it give way, she gave it a big shove and yelled "TIMBER!"

"TIMBER!!!!!"
Laurel watched the tree fall forward and managed to jum out of the way before she hit the ground. She closedher eyes and just stayed there on the ground breathing heavily, her heartrate pounding away. She looked up to see a lady standing behind where the tree was, actually it was the girl she'd seen in the graveyard the other day.
" Are you crazy?! You could've killed me! You don't just go nocking down trees with no prior warning. The least you could do was put up a sign." She said in between breaths. She wasn't really afraid of this one anymore. She'd heard that she was harmless.
She looked down at the now dead tree. It made her sad to see it there. It was so big and it had probably taken a long time to get that way. Well.......maybe she has a purpose for it...

Rosenna watched as the tree fell down with a satisfying crash. But along with that crash came a shout as a young girl jumped out of the way.
" Are you crazy?! You could've killed me! You don't just go nocking down trees with no prior warning. The least you could do was put up a sign." she said, gasping for air.
Rosenna chuckled. This girl was really shaken up about this. But there was no harm done.
"I was going to make a canoe and go out on the lake. My name's Rosenna."
It seemed like a good plan. It should've been a good plan. Get the tree. Make a canoe. Go out on the lake. Easy. But in that moment, Rosenna thought of something. She didn't have an axe.
"I don't have an axe." she said bewilderedly
