The transformation is not always 50-50 animal-human, sometimes he only gains aspects of the animal and sometimes he loses all human aspects all together; its random and entirely based on his bodies needs in the situation he is in.
History: Adam was like any old lost teenage soul, he experienced a traumatic event was a child and had found his own way of dealing with things. Adam used to be the most popular kid in school, he and his elder sister, Anna, ruled like there was no tomorrow; they were head of most clubs on school, captains of their teams, community leaders. The kids you only ever see on some lame TV series. But then one devastating day in November everything changed, they were both riding on motorcycles which they borrowed from Anna’s boyfriend; Adam was in lead and Anna behind him. Adam had just got his license and it was his first time on the roads without this instructor, Anna on the other hand had been riding for years. The roads were wet that day and the bikes were not in prime condition for the icy roads, they slipped on a turn and flew into the oncoming lane. Adam dodged the back of a van, but Anna went straight into an oncoming truck. The funeral was a big one, Anna was well known in the town of Essex, Connecticut. The day ended and soon most people moved pass it, but not Adam; he was never the same again.
Adam lost his connection with people, he fell of the social ladder rapidly, but still maintained his grades and memberships in all the clubs and teams he and his sister were part off. He just never spoke to people while he was there, not unless he had to. He was never idle, cause being idle meant remembering. He lost all his friends and became a sort of lifeless person, kind and participating but lifeless at heart. He was sentenced to community service at the local animal shelter for 6 months, as punishment for the accident. And I think that is truly where Adam found life again; he became part of the lives of those animals. What he lacked in human relations he made up for there. He even wanted to bring one home, but knew that due to his father’s allergies that that would not be possible. Long after his term of community service ended, Adam remained going to the shelter to help out. He had found a new life, and a sort of happiness.
Report of Mutant Capture: It was day like any other for Adam, he was on his way from the Animal Shelter after helping them prepare for the storm that was coming. The animals usually went nuts before a storm, and if everything was not secured then they could get injured. He was driving his dad’s SUV when a Tamaskan dog came running in front of the vehicle. He hit dead brakes, but the car wouldn’t stop in time and he hit the unfortunate critter. He got out of the car and saw the dog on the side of the road lying down with blood dripping from its stomach. The dog’s eyes weren’t open and Adam could see the life slipping from it; with tears in his eyes he lifted it up from the floor. The blood dripped all over his arm and t-shirt. It wasn’t an image you’d get to see everyday.
He managed to get in into the back of the van, when a strange feeling came over him. His entire body was surging, throbbing; for a moment he thought it was pain from hitting the dog, but then soon realized it was something else. His muscles screamed with agony, they grew breaking free from their t-shirt limits, his arms, legs, chest; everything was growing even his bones. His huge muscular frame took on a beastlike appearance as fangs and a fur started growing and his face transfigured into a wolf-like shape. As he finally took form the pain stopped and Adam saw his reflection as he looked down in the rear window of the SUV, he was now towering above the vehicle, but that wasn’t all that spooked him. The refection was haunting, it was as if he had become the beast he had just killed, he thought it was the universe’s revenge for what he had done. He looked around and the streets were empty, the windows of the surrounding houses were tightly shut; people feared the storms, just as much as they would fear him.
He bolted out of sight, staying off the path, running through bushes and trees, leaping fences and walls with incredible speed and ease. It all felt so natural to him, like he was born to do it. He made it to his destination, the back entrance to the Animal Shelter. He knew he would be safe here till the storm cleared and maybe the whole nightmare as well. Adam thought the Shelter would be empty, except for the animals of course, but he was unfortunately mistaken. Karen one of the veterinarians had stayed behind to spend the duration of the storm with the animals.
The animals didn’t seem to mind his presence, but just as Adam made himself comfortable next to dog kennels; came a scream from his rear. “Aaaaaahhhhh!!! AAAhhhh!!!” it was Karen, she had seen him through one of the mirrors. “No Karen, it’s me… It’s me, Adam…” his voice was snared and unfriendly; he sounded nothing like his former self. In all fairness, she had every right to run out screaming, “Monster!! Monster! Werewolf!!”, but did she really have to call the police. It was a mere moments before the sheriff’s siren came down the street and Adam had no choice but to run. He moved, even faster that before his adrenaline flaring, heading towards the abandoned houses on the edge of town. Every motion as real as the last, “Swoop…Swooop” he looked down to see two darts in his chest, “Swoop…Swoop…SwoopSwooopSwooop…”, twenty more followed. The last image he remembered where a group of men in black armour drawing nearer and nearer, before the lights went out.

Looks good to me. One little nitpick though. Did he get his community service as a result of the accident? Just clear that up as to why he got the community service as it seems to come out of the blue in the last paragraph of the history.

Yes it was because of the accident, I forgot to include it. I edited it in now though and thanks...
