History: Michelle was born to a human mother and a mutant father. Her mother knew what her husband was but loved him anyway. When she got pregnant with Michelle, she grew happy, able to be the mother of the man she loved’s baby. She decided she wouldn’t treat it differently. Little did she know, she wouldn’t have to. At least, she thought. Michelle was born powerless, it seemed and was able to live a normal human life until she was 10. Ten years she spent with her father till the black armored men came and her father ended his life in front of Michelle’s eyes. They only reason Michelle wasn’t taken was because she exhibited no signs of a mutation
Michelle dealt with her father’s departure with anger but the quickly dissolved to depression. She couldn’t be involved in school anymore so her mom took her out and home-schooled her for some time. Michelle got over her depression with the help of pills and time. It was about four years before she was ready to go back to school and she would enter her first year of high school.
Michelle, just coming out of depression, was timid. She lost all her friends when she basically went into hibernation (and due to the fact her mother moved her to a new state after the “incident”) and forgot how to make new ones. By the time the midpoint of her freshmen year rolled by, she was gaining confidence and close friends. It was when her life was finally turning good that everything went wrong. She gained her powers. Powers she couldn’t quite control either. If she was by a sink, water would come spurting out of it. If she was angry, winds would blow and so on went the weird phenomena. When Michelle finally told her mom, they moved. And so they moved to a new state every six months until Michelle was abducted. The periodic moves left Michelle scarred, along with the fact that she had trouble controlling her powers well. She’s falling apart at the seams and now she is being sent of to the place her father killed himself to avoid.
Mutation: Michelle, or Emby, has the ability to control the elements. The ability was discovered after she went through puberty and her body had physically matured. Being that her discovery was recent, her control over her power is weak. Her power covers the four basic elements: earth, air, water and fire. If she is to control an element, it has to be there since she cannot randomly generate fire if there is not fire burning somewhere nor can she make water appear out of thin air and so on. Since Emby is prone to panic attacks, the stress her mutation causes on her body, both physically and mentally (since its mainly a mental mutation), Emby goes into a panic attack after long or periodic usage of her power.

Report of Mutant Capture: Emby sat on the bench beneath the great willow outside of her high school. Like every other senior, she was enjoying the privilege of being able to roam the campus during free period. She often liked to sit outside, surrounded by air and earth, sometimes water (if it was raining). She slowly dragged her hand back and forth, stirring the air around her to make a light breeze. She closed her eyes, enjoying her power. She barely noticed when the breeze stopped and when they surrounded her. The sensation of being watched finally made her open her eyes. She held in a startled scream. The men where the same kind who drove her father to death when Emby was ten. They couldn’t know about her powers. She hadn’t used them that much. “What?” She asked, her voice trembling much more then she would have liked. It sounded like she was on the verge of tears. “You’re coming with us,” one of the men said in a gruff voice, pulling her arm up, dragging her from the bench. “No!” Emby yelled, trying to push him with air but it didn’t seem to work. She managed to twist her arm away and began to run, jumping over the bench and sprinting as fast as she could to anywhere she could. She screamed when one of the armored men came down on her. Crying, she tried to twist away from him but he grabbed her by her waist pulling her up with him. “I never did anything,” but instead of responding to her cry, her capturer just dragged her way, putting a cloth with a heavy bleach smell over her nose and she was pushed into a black SUV, taken to the place her father had killed himself to get away from.
“She’s a screamer,” the man who tackled her down chuckled.
