I want Maku to join up as a Protector, so I would like to either Rp something with Darius first, or I want him to learn more about his mutation first, then meet Darius... If anyone would help, that'd be great.

I'll use any one of my characters and help him figure out his power if you like.
Taboo knows all about being physically distorted, so she could tell him about using that to his advantage- but she might be a little mean to him.
Rhett spent a couple years discovering his own power, so he would have some ideas and tests, but he could get impatient.
Thatcher also has physical distortions (wings), and he's young enough to have the time and level of energy to encourage Maku.
