All RPG sites die.

Sure, some last for a very very very long time, but eventually they burn out. It can be sad or even depressing, but it IS so. As we can all see, our beloved (or just loved in some cases) Freakopolis is 6 feet under and digging. It's a shame, really, to see how it has fallen. We won't point any fingers, however, because the blame game isn't fun without rules and I'm too lazy to type up a new set. But I blame Mara.

I'm just kidding. I think we had a big boom of a start and we had our fun nights ( ) and now we're dead. The end. Not something to cry over, although I'll check this place out periodically to smile nostalgically and remember my characters. Heck, I might even take Sulley somewhere else.

Actually I've kind of stopped RPing altogether. It's unfortunate. But it is so. I'm up for joining sites after the summer, though, so if you guys are going to make a habit of popping in every now and then then please feel free to throw a link in. Not in the cbox, it'll be washed away. Do it here. Or just talk about the site here. Do whatever.

This is my official unofficial resignation letter. If at any time a member decides they want to attempt the unlikely and revive Freakopolis, post it up here and prove it by signing in. The next time I get on I'll be more than happy to promote you and help you build this place up again. But without willing people, it just won't work. We'd need a minimum of 5, really.

With that, farewell, my pretties. Keep an eye out for papa.

Someone else mentioned Freakopolis' rebirth to me as well. That's three people. I'm in the running, of course. So four. I don't RP anywhere else now (how sad) so all my attention would be devoted to Freak. Four isn't enough though. I think a minimum of five people expressing interest AND taking the time to at least log in every day is necessary. Let's cross our fingers and see where this goes.

I don't know. I don't think this revival thing will work. It's easier to open up a new site than to try to get people back to an old one. In my opinion, anyway.
