"There is nothing of human interest to be viewed, here. Please step away and permit me to return to my cell block, before there is a conflict." the thing said.
The right corner of Rosenna's mouth turned up slightly into a harsh smile. Conflict eh? she thought, [/i] Well, lets see what kind of conflict we can stirr up.[/i] After all, Rosenna was good with conflict. It had been a while since her last fight, and her hands were pretty much healed. She contemplated how this could go down, would this wimp that was with her fight? no. he was afraid of a little girl. So, like in every other fight with her sister, band mate, or slut at a bar, Rosenna started the conflict.
She slowly stepped away from the guy and the girl. She concentrated on her steps, making them sound deliberate rather than forceful or threatening. When she reached the robot, she saw that it really wasn't a robot, but a person that had been almost fused with machinery. She stopped in front of him, looked back at the two mutants behind her and put her hand on her hip. She placed her other hand on her chin, squinting her eyes as she did so.
"You mind telling me what's going on here? Maybe you want to begin with your name, or what you are?" she said, circling him slowly. It was interesting, to say the least, to see all of the different tubes and things. But she really wanted to see his face, because although he was partially robotic, she knew that sometime ago he used to be a human.

Jett's hand reached out to grab the Rosenna's arm, but it was too late. She was already out of his reach and walking toward the thing, looking as if she had resolved to pick a fight. If Jett wasn't so concerned with her well being he would have cursed the girl and chided her for acting so rationally. There was no sense in picking a fight with a person, even worse, a mutant. There was always a way around fighting. A peace to be met before bloodshed.
Jett turned to look at the girl, worry tilting his brows.
"Please don't get involved. This is..." he shook his head, glancing towards Rosenna, feeling helpless. Jett didn't have an offensive mutation. He didn't have a defensive one. Heck, he didn't even know what his own mutation was. As far as he was concerned, he was a human who had been misunderstood. Nothing about him was unnatural. Including is fear.
"It's a pointless fight. I'd get out of the way while you still have a chance. There is nothing to gain from senseless fighting." He narrowed his eyes at Rosenna's back as he said so, feeling less connected to the woman than he had when they'd met.
Without further ado, Jett turned and sprinted in the opposite direction, getting as far away as he could before anything happened.

Before Rosenna made her way towards the robot-man, she felt a tug at her arm. The wimp. What? Does he think that this robot can just do wthat he wants? Not as long as I'm here. So, as she marched her way to the unknown creature. She looked back. And she saw Jett. He didn't have that defensive look that she wanted. His face was screwd up in worry and Rosenna felt her irritation flare.
"Please don't get involved. This is..."
She wouldn't bother with a response. Their eyes locked. He wasn't going to fight, against the creature or Rosenna. She was shocked at how passive guys could be sometimes. Weren't they supposed to be the protectors?
"It's a pointless fight. I'd get out of the way while you still have a chance. There is nothing to gain from senseless fighting."
He narrowd his eyes. Rosenna fought off the urge to go give him a peice of her mind. But talked herself out of it. One fight at a time Ro, you can deal with him later.
But before she could do or say anything, Jett was gone. He had run away.
"HEY! WHAT THE HECK? THE LEAST YOU COULD DO WAS TAKE CARE OF THE GIRL!" she shouted after him. "Whatever," she growled and turned to the robot. "So, what did you say you were?" she said with a sweet smile.

It was as he had predicted. Tell a human it's not their business, and they will do all they can to make it their business. Tell a human it's not for them to know, and they will do all they can to find it out. Tell a human to leave you alone, and they'll go up and bother you. It was a wonder that the human race survived as long as it did, being unable to understand and adhere to the simplest concepts and requests. One would think they'd have all thrown themselves into some kind of pit in defiance of advisory not to. The pure, the machine-blessed was never this way. The pure understood authority, and understood orders as they were given, and not to be defied. Obedience was a characteristic much of those that dwelt within the compound desperately needed.
"I am not going to indulge in confrontation. I have repairs to make, and so far you have done nothing but hinder me." With a loud humming noise, four large spider legs came out of Lucian's back. It had been some time since he had used them for transportation, usually using his legs. The legs fully retracted, Lucian ascending to at least nine or ten feet in the air. Still sparking slightly, the servitor ascended with him, held tightly in his claws. The legs began to move, ferrying Lucian in the general direction of his cell block. The worst she could do now was try follow him, he thought, and he was more than well equipped to outrun anything on two legs.

Brooke just stared. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw this... thing. She watched all that happened, happy when the male ran off so there was only one left. But when the thing started to go off, she realized she had almost missed her chance. She stood up and started climbing the tree before Rosenna could come back and start questioning her again.
