The bar's backdoor bangs open and a relatively short figure tumbles out, retching horribly as he falls against the opposite wall. You can practically smell the vomit from twenty yards away.

He turns his head to wipe his mouth on his shoulder and pauses when he sees you, clipboard and head and prim look of expectancy on a thin-lipped face. He pushes off the wall and stumbled your way, pale-faced and missing most of his fingers. His eyes are wide and bleary, and the trail of puke on his chin isn't nearly as revolting as his breath.
